Daisy Network - Online Conference Speaker
Amy at Daisy Network originally contacted us to invite us to be one of their speakers for a small conference in Central London in 2022. The conference was moved to an online format and we were happy to adapt our presentation accordingly. We corresponded during the lead up to the event, supporting social media posts and providing some items for the goodie bags which were sent out to attendees by post.
The talk was on the theme of nutrition for menopause, and great care was taken to safely discuss this topic given that the charity provides support to women who may have started their menopause journey as early as their teenage years. We therefore took a trauma informed approach and adapted nutritional advice for women who may need a different approach to anyone going through menopause at the more typical age.
We provided an additional Q&A after the event because there were so many great questions, which we were very happy to answer.
“Victoria joined us to talk to our members on our online charity conference discussing the subject of nutrition for those with Premature Ovarian Insufficiency. The talk was so informative, offering wonderful advice on practical things women can do to support their health through nutrition, she also offered her time to do a Q&A which our members really appreciated. Thank you Victoria!”

Cucumber Fields - Menopause Retreat Speaker - On Site
After working with our client Joanna of Positive Change Pilates for several events, we were recommended to Cucumber Fields to work alongside Joanna and some other health practitioners for one of their popular menopause retreats. The venue is an award winning health sanctuary including iconic yoga and botanic cycle studios, treatment rooms and their pantry which provides high quality healthy food and products.
Menopause retreats are periodically provided for mostly members and additional guests, so the request was to create a talk that was different to other recent topics covered by nutritionists. We agreed on a mind-body theme and in the preparation we were invited to visit the venue and provide nutritional advice to the chef for her to curate a menu that included ingredients covered in the talk.
The event, held in Hertfordshire, included a full day schedule with pilates, yoga, our nutrition talk, a physiotherapist and a private GP. As with many of our talks we were able to make the session interactive and at times conversational, with guests keen to ask questions and discuss ideas throughout. The event was a pleasure to be a part of.
“We invited Victoria to our Cucumber Fields Menopause Retreat Day, a day to allow women of all ages and walks of life to feel seen, heard and supported at their varying stages of the menopause journey. We were delighted to have Victoria host a talk about Nutrition for the Menopause and how to help reduce brain fog. She shared such incredible information, going into the detail of ingredients and how we can be supported by the right nutrition during this period of change in our lives. She also collaborated closely with our in-house Chef to design a menu with ingredients that were all supportive of reducing brain fog and inflammation, increasing antioxidants, supporting good blood sugar levels and also to help balance oestrogen. Victoria’s talk complimented the rest of the day beautifully and we are sure the ladies walked away with a new toolbox of resources to support their menopause nutrition needs going forward.”

Fairhive Homes Ltd - Menopause Nutrition and Breathwork Workshop - On Site
A previous event that we had provided a talk for as part of Savvy Sisters (a menopause support community) led to one of our guests Liz reaching out as Menopause Champion for Fairhive Homes.
We were invited to create a two-hour workshop on an Introduction to Nutrition and Breathwork for Menopause. In a preliminary meeting, we discussed the vision Liz and Fairhive Homes shared for their valued team members going through menopause, and what would be most helpful for them to know. We then designed the workshop accordingly and attended the site in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire to deliver it in the boardroom.
To keep everyone engaged, we broke up the slides and information with several activities including grounding (body awareness), breathwork and gentle movement, and provided handmade healthy snacks, for which we had checked for allergy requirements in advance. The session was well attended and all attendees described feeling more energised, confident and optimistic about their menopause journeys at the end.
“Fairhive Homes recently worked with Victoria Bell, in conjunction with Savvy Sisters, to deliver a workshop about nutrition during menopause for our employees.
Victoria’s session was very informative with so many hints and tips on how to incorporate healthy eating into already busy lives. Victoria has a warm and gentle approach and is clearly very knowledgeable and passionate about her subject.
For any company wanting to support their employees wellbeing I can recommend Victoria to deliver an excellent engaging session.”

Positive Change Pilates - Menopause Retreat Speaker - On Site
Joanna was originally introduced to us by her colleague who was co-running menopause retreats 2-3 times each year. They were looking for a nutritionist to deliver a talk for their next retreat at The Kinsbourne Barn in Harpenden, Hertfordshire. The retreats are high-end, small group events involving a full day schedule of a combination of pilates and yoga, other experiential sessions such as sound baths and breathwork, plus one or two speaker slots.
We originally delivered the first talk on the understanding it was a one-off service, however the feedback was so positive that Victoria Bell Nutrition has been invited back to speak at every subsequent retreat and is considered part of “The Dream Team”. We tend to deliver the talks during or after lunch and due to the small intimate nature of the events we have a flexible structure that allows for fluidity, questions and conversation throughout.
For each retreat, we have created a new talk and often coordinate with the team to follow a theme for the day. Delivery of the talk is accompanied by handouts with key tips and recipes. We help the team to collect gifts for the goodie bags by liaising with some of our suppliers.
“Victoria has been providing valuable nutrition advice on my menopause retreats for over 2 years. She provides a perfect combination of useful practical tips as well as factual information. Victoria is one of the highlights of the retreats as the women gain so much confidence understanding how nutrition can positively impact their hormonal health and wellbeing.”

Magrath Sheldrick Solicitors LLP - Lunch and Learn Speaker - On Site
Legal Partner Adele contacted us to see if we could provide a nutrition workshop for Magrath Sheldrick, who were providing a week of activities related to Mental Health Awareness Week. She had a set theme in mind, which was Nutrition to Support Mental Wellbeing, Concentration and Productivity, for which we were happy to design a talk.
We were invited to deliver the talk as a “lunch and learn” session, scheduled on a popular day for team members who have a hybrid working arrangement. Adele and her colleagues are very passionate about employee wellbeing and their enthusiasm for the session in the build up, during and after made this a very enjoyable session to deliver.
We delivered the session in London-based boardroom with a full room of team members. Although the employees are clearly used to having health practitioners in to cover varying themes, they were excited about the topic and had lots of great questions. We have since been invited back to deliver a talk on a different topic for the winter and look forward to an ongoing relationship with Magrath Sheldrick and their team.
“We booked a session with Victoria as part of mental health awareness week. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the session and got a lot from it. The session felt like a conversation rather than a lecture, with Victoria giving us great examples of the pros and cons of various foods and lifestyle choices and the impact they have on our bodies.
Feedback from staff was that the session felt really empowering – in providing the facts about how different things like alcohol, wheat, and dairy affect our bodies, Victoria provided information, without judgment, enabling informed decision making. After the session, many staff commented that they felt so much more confident about nutrition and how to make choices that work for them moving forward. We will be inviting Victoria back for future sessions.”

Level Up Ladies - Personal Development Retreat Speaker - Onsite
As a regular attendee of the Level Up Ladies networking events, founders Sara Spindle and Jess Levy invited me to be one of four speakers for their Level Up Mind and Body event. This event involved a five hour luxury retreat-style session for women, at the now familiar Cucumber Fields - an award winning health sanctuary for which we have previously provided a talk.
The afternoon involved Body Balance with Sara Spindle, meditation with holistic therapist Heather Rooke, lunch followed by our nutrition talk, then a sound bath with Tia Harris. The timing of the event allowed for all of the individuals running the sessions to attend the rest of the schedule alongside the guests. This led to lots of discussions with the guests and allowed for each of them to ask their own questions and a sense of equality and sharing our experiences together.
Given the theme of the event, we designed a talk that covered some key ways to use food to support mental and physical wellbeing. Guests were able to ask questions and contribute their thoughts throughout and this again enabled them to feel that they were getting value from the exchange, with access to a nutritionist.
Feedback from the guests included “I love the fact that you share key nuggets that are not in the mainstream, but at the same time make it so relevant and digestable”, “I could have listened to you all day”, “Your beautiful calm manner with which you deliver your talk is just brilliant”, “I love how you answer the questions so diplomatically and that there’s no one size fits all” and many more similar comments.
“Victoria was a fantastic asset to our Level Up Your Mind and Body event.
Her knowledge is incredible; she has so much clarity in her explanations, making what she is sharing accessible to everyone. Her nutrition talk was interesting, with useful information our participants could take away and implement into their own diets.
We had fabulous feedback from all the ladies who attended the event, and all wanted to hear more from Victoria, which is always a positive! We highly recommend her to anyone wanting more insight into looking after their health through good nutritional habits.”

Awin Ltd - Employee Nutrition Consulations - Online and International
Awin’s Senior Culture & Business Partner contacted us in February 2023 to ask if we would be able to deliver a half day of mini nutrition consultations for their employees. This was already an activity that Awin had been running successfully for some time, however their previous provider was no longer available and so they were very clear on maintaining continuity with a provision for their staff that was working well.
We discussed the format that Awin would like us to follow and this included a four-hour block with a short break in the middle and space for eleven 20-minute consultations. Awin is a global organisation and these sessions were made available to all of their 1400+ employees online. We agreed on afternoon slots to accommodate team members in different time zones and using Microsoft Teams which is their preferred platform.
Employees were asked to complete a short questionnaire prior to the session which enabled us to better utilise the time and cover their main questions more efficiently. The range of health concerns and questions was very diverse and each attendee was grateful for the personalised advice they received.
The original session, run in April 2023 was a huge success and the feedback was very positive. We have since run 4 further dates and have two more booked for early 2025.
“We have had the pleasure of working with Victoria Bell in 2024. She provided us with five mini-consultation sessions, with a sixth session planned for the new year.
Her expertise has been invaluable in guiding our staff with creating better and healthier eating and living habits. Victoria provides tailored advice and practical tips that are easy to implement, allowing our staff to make healthier choices. Her 121 sessions are well-organised, informative, and engaging, allowing everyone to feel comfortable in asking questions.
This is a wellbeing service that our staff appreciate and I always have a fully booked session. We look forward to working with you in 2025.”
