Knowing how to eat well has become so confusing and overcomplicated. We’re taught very little about good nutrition in school, the media often promotes conflicting and misleading information about what is healthy, manufactured foods containing cheap ingredients are everywhere we look and may seem more affordable than good quality fresh food. And then there are the many products on the market touted as the solution to our health problems, many of them not so healthy and giving us new problems!

As a busy woman, looking after yourself is often an afterthought. But making sure you are feeling the BEST YOU CAN is so important in today’s demanding world. Some of the symptoms you’re experiencing might include gut health issues, menopausal symptoms, a lack of energy, low immunity or food intolerances.

You’ve arrived at this website because you are already curious about whether food is one of the big reasons why you don’t feel at your best. Wherever you are in your own journey you might have wondered:

So Why Work With Me?

I understand your concerns because I have experienced my own health issues and asked every question above and more! I learned the hard way that restrictive diets don’t work, that medication doesn’t always resolve the root causes of our problems and that essentially, it helps to consider how we’re fuelling our bodies.

With first-hand experience of gradually transforming my diet while feeding children who are now 13 and 11, I believe in being realistic about making changes and using a gentle approach with nutrition. Letting go of the pressure to get things right and perfect 100% of the time also allows for a balanced and much less stressful life. Setting up manageable, realistic and achievable goals for gradual improvements to your food and lifestyle will give you the best chance of finding new habits that you love and want to keep for life.

What Can You Expect from Working with Me?

I can help you to make sense of which foods are really beneficial to you, and to focus on how you can use food to heal rather than harm you. Using functional testing, stress techniques such as breathwork and mindfulness and coaching, I offer a holistic whole-body and mind approach. We work together so you can adopt a way of eating that is sustainable in the long term to keep you in good health. As a complementary therapist I work collaboratively alongside regular medical care to help you get the best outcome for your health.
