Helping your employees feel happier and healthier every day

Employees with more energy, fewer health issues and clearer thinking are more productive. Providing workshops, mini-consultations and inspiring reading content to your teams can enhance their health and wellbeing, plus deliver a return on investment to your organisation.

Imagine a workforce with fewer sick days, improved motivation and higher productivity. What difference would that make to you and your business?

When your staff are feeling great, great things happen:

  • Sales targets are exceeded

  • Deadlines are met

  • Customers receive a high-quality service

  • Productivity increases leading to greater profitability

  • Recruitment and training costs are reduced due to lower staff turnover

  • The work environment is a fun place to be

  • Your reputation as a caring employer is enhanced and recruiting the right people is easier

There are many ways for employers to support their employees’ wellbeing and increasing research is showing that support with a healthy lifestyle and lowering stress are high priorities. By educating your employees to eat more healthily and prevent overwhelm and burnout, you can make a genuine positive impact in their lives and retain skilled, motivated staff.

Victoria joined us to talk to our members on our online charity conference discussing the subject of nutrition for those with Premature Ovarian Insufficiency. The talk was so informative, offering wonderful advice on practical things women can do to support their health through nutrition, she also offered her time to do a Q&A which our members really appreciated. Thank you Victoria!

A non-judgemental and realistic approach to starting the health journey

If your team members seem like they are less productive than they used to be, you can provide a boost with workplace nutrition and wellbeing workshops and talks, which give them simple suggestions for improvements such as:

  • Controlling blood sugar levels to reduce the risk of diabetes and improve concentration

  • Improving protein intake to reduce snacking and enhance brain function

  • Increase intake of fresh fruit and vegetables to support immunity

  • Understanding which fats are better in quality to facilitate hormonal and cardiovascular health

  • Small manageable ways to increase resilience and lower the stress response

There are many other ways that employees can be supported to make small but significant changes and at Victoria Bell Nutrition, we can provide a tailored package of corporate nutrition and stress webinars (online), workshops (face-to-face in London, Herts, Beds and Bucks), one-to-one consultations and educational content. All services are tailored to address the nutritional and lifestyle needs of your whole workforce or specific groups.

FAQs

  • If your organisation chooses to include employee nutrition consultations as part of a wellness program, quarterly is a good starting point, while monthly sessions are popular, especially for companies with a lot of staff. Frequency will be based on your organisations requirements. Most often our clients opt for blocks of nutrition consultations over a half day or full day. Because this is open to all staff, it gives more staff the opportunity to book a session if they are offered regularly.

  • There are a few health issues for which it would be recommended for your employees to seek specialist advice from an appropriate health professional including: Cancer, eating disorders, kidney or renal disease, and women who have been through childbirth within the last 10 days at the time of consultation.

  • At Victoria Bell Nutrition, our focus is to provide content for teams that promotes mental and physical wellbeing, although we can quickly create talks on request for a broad range of themes. The most popular talks we provide include nutrition for mental wellbeing, concentration and productivity, stress relief techniques, nutrition for stress and anxiety, menopause and general healthy eating for teams.

  • Most of our talks are between 45 minutes and one hour, although we tailor our talks to offer shorter or longer ones depending on requirements. We can also make these more interactive to run them as workshops. We generally include time for a Q&A in the last 10-15 minutes, or we can arrange for further Q&A sessions.

  • We offer a range of options to help you enhance the nutritional quality of the food that you provide for your employees. If you have a communal kitchen area, we can assess what is available and make recommendations for improvements. For some companies who are offering food ingredients for their employees to make their own breakfasts, snacks or lunches, we can make meal suggestions and curate a set of ready-to-use shopping lists with your chosen food supplier. We can also assess any vending machine snack and drink options and recommend healthier products.

  • Mental wellbeing training for employees involves sessions and workshops designed to enhance mental health, resilience, and stress management. This type of training provides tools to manage work-related stress, prevent burnout, and cultivate a healthy work-life balance.

  • Mental wellbeing training teaches employees coping strategies, mindfulness practices, and resilience-building techniques that reduce stress and increase focus. When employees feel supported in their mental health, they are more engaged and productive.

  • Workplace mental health programs cover topics such as stress management, resilience, self care, mindfulness and breathwork. These programs are led by experienced trainers who help employees develop practical tools for managing mental health at work.

  • All of our services can be delivered to employees remotely as well as on site in your workplace. Mental wellbeing programs can be adapted for remote and hybrid settings through virtual workshops and digital resources. These programs are just as effective online, offering remote employees the same level of support for their mental health needs.

  • Yes, helping your employees to manage their mental wellbeing, and helping managers and colleagues to support each other is likely to improve employee satisfaction, reduce sick days and ensure that more of your valued staff are retained for longer. We aim to help your employees reduce the risk of burnout and enjoy their time working for your company while working productively.
