IBS NUTRITIONIST SUPPORT

Have you been suffering in silence from Irritable Bowel Syndrome? Do you spend most of your time feeling uncomfortable due to bloating, constipation, diarrhoea, trapped wind or heartburn, never quite knowing what is safe to eat?

Nutritional therapy provides natural remedies to help with IBS.

The Importance of Gut Health

Digestive problems are a common and recurring issue for so many of us. They interfere with work, socialising, sleep, they might even get in the way of enjoying food.

Often when there is a problem with the gut, symptoms can appear elsewhere in the body – such as skin complaints, haywire hormones, poor immunity, low energy and headaches.

The digestive tract is a complex system with lots of layers, organs and chemicals such as hormones and enzymes involved. If your digestion isn’t working, it can have far reaching effects in the body which can be why you never quite feel 100%.

improving your gut health so you feel better

I specialise in Irritable Bowel Syndrome, as I know too well how hard it can be to understand the symptoms and do something about them when you lead a busy life. So often we might get stuck in a lifestyle that is dictated by routine and convenience. Visiting your doctor for digestive issues may be your first step, but longer term medication is not always the answer.

Nutritional therapy can help you achieve a healthy digestive system through small but manageable changes to your diet and lifestyle.

My 12-week programs are tailored to you and ensure that progress can be monitored over time. Your wellbeing is important so you can live your life to its fullest. The programs take place over 3 months to give your body time to adjust to the changes we implement.

Here’s what my clients are saying

“I decided to reach out to Victoria as I was really struggling with acid reflux and heartburn symptoms and didn't want to continue living with it on a daily basis. I was due my first baby in July 21 and wanted normality and to function at a high level for him and not feel unwell all the time. I had suffered with these symptoms for 10 years and had been to multiple doctors who had always sent me home with a prescription which helped in the short term but never solved the issue or provided me with useful information on how to manage.

I emailed Victoria and received a response the next day and before you knew it we were chatting away discussing next steps. Victoria listened to my symptoms and
asked about my goals which no-one has ever asked about before - It made me realise that I shouldn't be living with these symptoms each day and that something can be done!

After
undertaking some extremely useful tests, Victoria and I worked together on different ways in which I could manage symptoms and had regular check-ins to see how I was progressing. I thoroughly enjoyed our check-ins and Victoria was always available if I need anything outside of the check-ins which was greatly appreciated. I can happily announce that since working together my symptoms have lessened significantly. I feel 'normal' again, I am not worrying about getting up in the middle of the night to feed my son, I am confidently ordering foods from restaurants that I haven't eaten in forever and it feels great and all thanks to Victoria! Without her knowledge, help and continuous support I would still be suffering in silence, avoiding foods, feeling unwell in the middle of the night when feeding my newborn so I cannot recommend or thank Victoria enough for all her help.

Victoria you have a
wealth of knowledge, you show such kindness, empathy and are a wonderful support, I appreciate everything you have taught me over the past couple of months and now have the confidence to manage myself.”

I have spoken so highly to so many people about what you do and only wish it was known to more people like myself. It has changed things and symptoms without doing extra damage to my body and for that I am so, so pleased. I am just so grateful and it is so worth a go. I think I will be with Victoria at future points in my life also down the line... Thank you for being understanding and relatable. And for caring about helping, as being young but having problems, which you said some of which you experienced was nice to hear.”

My daughter was able to follow the advice and took all the supplements recommended and felt remarkably better in a short time. She learnt what she could eat and what she should avoid... her periods have changed beyond recognition.  They are now lighter and less pain to almost no pain and regular too.  She realises that the food choices she makes has a big difference on how she feels.  She knows how to adapt should symptoms come back and what to do….

Victoria was easy to talk to, explained things very well and instilled us with confidence that she would be able to help.  Her instructions were easy to follow and we both felt very comfortable talking to her, especially my daughter who at 13 was discussing quite private information at times. I wouldn't hesitate to use Victoria again and would recommend her to anyone.”
